After its first loss of the season this past Saturday, No. 7 Penn State football couldn't have found a better time for a bye week.
"Our fans thought they smelled a rat I guess -- I don't know. They responded the way they responded."
Penn State's offense sputtered with Ta'Quan Roberson running the show, but the defense did about all it could to keep the Nittany Lions alive.
