
State College's two Jersey Mike's locations -- one on 128 S. Allen St. and the other at 2009 N. Atherton St. -- will donate 100% of their sales today (not just profits) to Four Diamonds as part of the national Jersey Mike's Month of Giving.

The sixth annual "Happy Valley's Got Talent" competition will hit the stage at the State Theatre on April 2. All proceeds from the show benefit grieving children, teens, and families.

The fundraiser will be held on April 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. at Insomnia Cookies. This year, the money raised through the event will be given to the Centre Country PAWS, a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting animal welfare and safety.
