About 80% of students and 83% of full-time employees are fully vaccinated, according to Penn State.
Students can get the Moderna vaccine from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Campus Rec said it will do "everything that can reasonably be done" to enforce mask-wearing, leaving potential closures as a last resort.
"I want to be in my classroom teaching in person. I want to be in my lab. The way to do this is for everyone to be vaccinated."
Since its dashboard update on Thursday, August 19, the university administered 5,328 tests to students and employees.
From 3 to 4 p.m. on Friday, August 27, attendees will rally to "support a COVID-19 vaccine mandate and other safety measures."
