Pennsylvania Auditor General Eugene DePasquale released his performance audit of Penn State on June 22. Here are some of the major recommendations included in the audit reports and the university's response.

DePasquale said the auditor's office found an 8 percent error rate for required clearances mandated for children's academic and sports camps on Penn State's campus and a 4 percent error rate for other pre-employment background checks campuswide.

DePasquale hopes these measures will help Penn State increase its transparency and accountability, especially within university governance.

DePasquale calls the university to create a task force "with a focus on identifying and lowering costs that are driving tuition into the stratosphere."

The games against Pitt, the first edition of the in-state matchup at Beaver Stadium since 1999, and Michigan, the 2017 White Out game, will not be available available during the public sale beginning July 11.

The honor comes after he secured his second-straight national title at 149 pounds and helped the Nittany Lions to their sixth NCAA Championship in the last seven years.
