
Penn State's athletic programs recorded a relatively successful weekend, highlighted by women's soccer bringing home its first National Championship and women's volleyball advancing in the NCAA Tournament.

The IM Building transformed into an aquatic wonderland on Sunday for THON's annual family carnival. Volunteers, families, and THON directors alike came together to partake in games and activities matching this years theme, Out to Sea: Sailing to New Horizons in Pursuit of a Cure.

Quarterbacks coach Ricky Rahne will serve as Penn State's interim offensive coordinator for the upcoming Taxslayer Bowl.

Families and volunteers enjoyed another lively Family Carnival on Sunday afternoon in the IM Building, where the THON 2016 “Believe Beyond Boundaries” logo was revealed.

Penn State is back in the postseason, and will play in the TaxSlayer Bowl vs. Georgia on January 2.
