Four Penn State Athletes Charged In State Patty’s Day Fight

Two football players and two basketball players were charged with disorderly conduct stemming with a State Patty's Day fight State College police announced on Wednesday. Football players Curtis Drake and Derrick Thomas and basketball players Taran Buie and Tre Bowman were all charged in association with the altercation which took place in Cedarbrook Apartments on the evening of February 28th.

The Penn State men’s volleyball team traveled to New Jersey last weekend and came away with two sweeps over conference foes. With the victories, the Nittany Lions are just one win away from their 27th EIVA regular season title. Penn State will hope to earn that win against George Mason on Saturday.

Bard, Lennartz Elected UPUA President, VP

The UPUA Elections Commission entered Alumni Hall to a crowd highly anticipating the results. Spectators and supporters had begun arriving shortly after 10 p.m., and waited over an hour for the Commission's announcement. After going through the winners of each of the 17 representative races, Head Elections Commissioner Dustin Dove revealed the results of the presidential/vice presidential election that everyone had been waiting for. Joe Grimes and Tyler Weintz finished fourth, behind David Adewumi and Sri Pisupati in third, Travis Salters and Maggie Quinn in second, leaving TJ Bard and Courtney Lennartz as the winners.
