Candidates were allowed to start campaigning yesterday and you may have received a Facebook event invite or two from someone you know who is running. The next two weeks leading up to the election will be busy, so we've put together a breakdown of important dates if you want to follow what's going on. Find it after the jump.

In light of Governor Corbett's proposed budget cuts, the University Park Undergraduate Association's Steering Committee met last night to respond as an undergraduate student government, since the General Assembly doesn't meet this week.

Penn State finished ranked highly in a number of different areas in the 2012 U.S. News "Best Grad School" rankings, which were released last night. Seventeen different graduate programs finished in the top ten of their respective rankings, and Penn State took the top spot in Higher Education Administration.

A memorial service honoring Bill Schreyer, one of Penn State's most storied philanthropists, will be held this weekend in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. The event will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday and will include remarks from those who knew Schreyer well, including Schreyer Honors College Dean Christian Brady (@shcdean) and head football coach Joe Paterno.
