We all know this will be a busy week, and especially weekend, for uh, studying. If you aren't a fan of wearing green nor public intoxication, PSMA has a few ideas to give you something to do.

Between the march against tuition, the crazy preacher (as opposed to the Willard preacher) relocating to outside of the HUB, and more tour groups than usual, you may be noticing many different things around campus today. However, you may or may not know that today is the 156th birthday of Dear Old State. To celebrate this, Penn States Lion Ambassadors are in the HUB giving out free stuff. So stop by and wonder how PSU has persisted all these years as you enjoy a free cookie or cupcake.

Another video submission from David Adewumi. Check out his interview with Penn State President Graham Spanier during the final hours of THON 2011. You should also check out the two videos Adewumi submitted to us earlier.

Penn State students can begin planning their football Saturday attire, as yesterday The Daily Collegian announced the winner of their White Out t-shirt contest.
The winner was Design B, which was my personal favorite but failed to impress our readers in last week's poll. ItĀ features a basic yet effective design and incorporates the "Success With Honor" mantra within the student section "S Zone" on the back.

Onward State Visual Editor Eric Weiss shares the finale of THON 2011 from his point of view: behind a camera.

Oh, you didn't know about this? Neither did I. What's the difference? We both think that tuition needs to be kept under control. We don't want to have to drop out of school because we can no longer afford it. This is important, right?
Well, covering student government is my job. I've been hearing the words "rising tuition" like a broken record. So when the fact that the aptly-named March Against Rising Tuition snuck up on me at tonight's Onward State staff meeting, I couldn't help but think, "How could they have done such an awful job promoting this purportedly crucial event that I, who've been trained to cover this topic for months, didn't know about it?"
I did know that the event existed. I got a Facebook invitation way back, but put it in the back of my mind, and with no reminder from anyone, it crept up on me until I realized it was only a day away.
