Homecoming week is upon us. Every alumni's favorite week of the year kicked off yesterday with the Homecoming 5k in the afternoon and the Dance Competition and Boys Like Girls concert in the evening. The rest of the week is filled with fun events for students and alumni to find out about some Penn State history and see several on-campus organizations showcase their talents. Here's a breakdown of the events taking place.

Iowa has been a tough opponent for Penn State football. They have won eight out of the past 10 meetings with the Nittany Lions, including the soul-crushing victory two years ago that kept Penn State from a possible national championship game.
Chances are, if some stranger came up to you and demanded to know if you would pick Penn State all over again, you'd say yes. In fact, there's a 92.1% chance you would say yes. That's way up from 2002 with 80.2%.

I’ve never really been a fan of the Academy Awards. Sure, they tried to get on my good side by not giving Avatar any awards it didn’t deserve. Still, the Academy obviously has it out for my two favorite flavors of film: animation and comedy.
