College Ave. is closed between Shortlidge Road and Allen Street after protestors parked a vehicle in the crosswalk near the Allen Street Gates around 2 p.m.
Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna announced Wednesday that no officers would be charged in the fatal shooting of State College resident Osaze Osagie after a month-long investigation by state police.
"Isn’t there something wrong when you send the police to protect your son to take him to the hospital and they send him to the graveyard?”
Cantorna said the officers were justified and in a “life or death situation” when they used a taser and shot Osagie who was approaching them with a knife
Agents were at KCF's offices at 336 S. Fraser St. and 141 W. Beaver Ave., and State College police had one lane of traffic in front of the Beaver Avenue office closed.
