Another weekend is in the books for Penn State Athletics, and it was another success across the spectrum. Be it on the court, gridiron, or ice, Penn State found a way to get it done.

Penn State's long-standing tradition as "Linebacker U" appears to be in good hands with sophomore Jason Cabinda now calling the shots.

Penn State won its fourth game in a row Saturday, but it sure didn't feel like it. An ugly offensive performance, a tense postgame press conference, and the continued spread of the injury bug left the Nittany Lions with more questions than answers. Here are our game day observations from the stressful affair.
No. 1 Penn State women's volleyball cruised to a straight-set victory over Iowa in its eighth annual "Dig Pink" match.

"Nobody's trying to either renovate Beaver or build a new stadium just to be doing it," Athletic Director Sandy Barbour said. "There's a recognized need. I've not run into anybody that doesn't recognize that need."

The 2014-15 Nittany Lions had their best record ever, posting an 18-14-4 mark in the regular season. Some of the program's best players ever have left the program, but its best recruiting class ever is coming in. Our staff expects that to culminate in another winning record, but time will tell how much (if any) improvement we'll see.
