
Call it passionate, call it stupid -- well, yeah, mostly stupid -- but 2007 Penn State graduate Ryan Rock took his love for the Pittsburgh Pirates to a different level last week.

There was not much scoring going on last night at Jeffrey Field, as Mark Wadid's laser from the penalty area in the 34th minute was all the Nittany Lions needed to overcome Robert Morris. A solid effort both offensively and defensively for Penn State, including a shutout from junior goalkeeper Andrew Wolverton, prevented Robert Morris from reducing the goal deficit.

If you didn't get student hockey tickets, don't worry. The men's hockey team will be televised ten times this upcoming season, which includes appearances on the Big 10 Network (BTN), ESPNU, and ESPNEWS.
