Penn State Football season is just FIVE days away, and James Franklin and his team are hard at work putting in their final preparations before Croke Park. Franklin’s daughter Shola got in on the action Sunday afternoon. Franklin tweeted a video of her dominating the sleds on the football field. Check out the video below:

Now that the men’s World Cup has wrapped up, the women are already focused on next summer and the 2015 women’s World Cup, and Penn State is set to be represented on the national stage.
Penn State football received more preseason recognition today, as tight ends Kyle Carter and Jesse James were both named to the John Mackey Award watchlist.
The Penn State football team’s academic performance for the spring semester was announced today, and it was impressive. Forty-six members of the team earned at least a 3.0 grade-point average, with three players earning a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Yesterday it was announced that Penn State Football’s chapter of Uplifting Athletes will hold their annual Lift for Life on July 12th. The events for the weekend will start on Wednesday will July 9th, and conclude on Saturday July 12th, the weekend of Arts Fest.
