On October 25th, rapper and 2012 BET Best New Artist Big Sean will be performing at Rec Hall for free as a part of the Hoops Madness basketball event.
The 6'1'' Point Guard from Houston Texas has been a solid part of the Penn State basketball program since his freshman year. He broke out of his shell during the Big Ten Tournament in 2011, and became a leader of the squad last season, having posted 17 20-point games.
The No. 1 Penn State Women's Volleyball team extended their winning streak to nine games over the weekend, as they defeated both Northwestern and #21 Illinois on the road.

Elsewhere in Penn State athletics, men’s soccer tied Michigan at Ann Arbor and field hockey and women’s soccer picked up wins at home, while women’s volleyball knocked off yet another two teams.
