At about 6 pm, PSU ComRadio released a statement made by Jerry Sandusky from his holding cell. In the statement, he denies committing the crimes that he's been found guilty of. Sandusky says he will continue to fight for his innocence.
Another Monday has resulted in another Penn State linebacker taking home the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week award. This week, it is senior Gerald Hodges winning the conference honor following a fantastic game in Saturday's victory over the previously undefeated Northwestern Wildcats.

The No. 1 Penn State Women's Volleyball team extended their winning streak to nine games over the weekend, as they defeated both Northwestern and #21 Illinois on the road.
When asked what the biggest challenge will be this year, Gadowsky said that bringing fans is always tough. He encouraged the crowd to show up on gameday, and made it clear that the team feeds off of their energy.
