What you might not have heard much about thus far is Coach O’Brien’s smooth transition into the way of life of “Dear Old State”. At the Blue Band’s banquet last Sunday, Coach O’Brien approached Blue Band director Dr. Bundy about having the football team join the Band in the Alma Mater after each game.

In the end, the Conecticut women's basketball team was just too talented. The Lady Lions fought until the final whistle, but it was not enough to even come close. The Huskies dominated for almost the entire 40 minutes in a 77-59 victory, knocking Penn State out of the NCAA Tournament.

The 4-seeded Penn State women's basketball team faces its toughest test of the season when it takes on top-seeded Connecticut in the NCAA Tournament at 4:34 p.m. on Sunday.
