The new casinos would be owned and operated by some of the 12 current casino license owners in the state and cannot be placed within 25 miles of an existing casino.
The new building would be developed by CA Student Living, which is currently building The Rise, a mixed-use high-rise on the 500 block of East College Avenue, and the Friedmans.
Each was charged with misdemeanor counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief - damaging property. They were arraigned via summons on Thursday by District Judge Carmine Prestia and preliminary hearings are scheduled for Dec. 20.
