A local attorney says asking downtown bars and restaurants to stop serving alcohol on State Patty's Day is not the right solution to curb rowdiness related to the Penn State student-created event.

Pizza Heaven is now open again at 301 Science Park Road, which is unfortunately a hike and a haul from campus and nowhere near as convenient as the previous location on North Atherton.

For the second straight year, Penn State is offering to pay downtown bars to close on State Patty's Day.
