Summer is the time for music festivals. And while some of us have the opportunity to travel and experience the best music and arts festivals around, most of us won’t be able to make it out to Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo. But even if we can’t travel across the country, there are still some great summer music festivals in the Pennsylvania area to check out.

Cleveland-based industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails will be performing at the Bryce Jordan Center on October 21st as a part of their 30-city tour, the group announced today.

Only building more anticipation for next school year, the Center for Performing Arts at Penn State released the specifics of its 2013-2014 season today. And, well, it doesn't disappoint. From musicals and dance to prehistoric reptiles, these are some of the highlights.

With excitement ramping up for this summer's Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts -- known widely as ArtsFest -- as it approaches in just six short weeks, this year's collectable poster was released and is available for free at a number of locations in State College.

Did you know Biggie Smalls' daughter goes to Penn State? Well, she does (she's a business major), and she's starting her own clothing line in honor of her legendary father.

Rusted Root -- yes, the band that plays "Send Me On My Way" -- will be playing at the Tussey Mountain Ampitheatre on Saturday, June 1. The group has a brand new album called the The Movement set to be released on October 30th, and they'll be playing old hits such as "Martyr" and "Ecstasy" along with their new stuff just two short weekends from now.
