
You may not have heard of Los Angeles, California rapper KILLAKAKE, but you should probably get familiar with him. This Penn State grad is making moves in music and film.

Dael Orlandersmith, a well-established playwright, actress, and poet, will perform her solo piece "Black n Blue Boys/Broken Men" tonight at the Penn State Downtown Theatre Centre at 7:30. Orlandersmith talked to some theatre students yesterday after she got into town.

Student-founded clothing line, Purple Planes, launched its 2013 winter line last night at Chrome Bar and Hookah Lounge. Founder Daba Kora discusses how the fashion and entertainment team got together, how the Chrome event came to be, and how Purple Planes was born.

Although their genre of music is mostly affiliated with the 90's, one Penn State band is the defibrillator to kick start the hearts of Ska fans everywhere. The Wondershop Showdown have been on the music scene since the Fall of 2010, but have clearly made a name for themselves within the past year. Now they are entering another stage of their music careers by playing arguably the biggest show at Penn State: THON 2013.

Like the Lion King song we all know and love, the Penn State Thespians will celebrate "The Circle of Life" with their presentation of MasquerAIDS 2013, a cabaret of sorts, benefiting the Centre County AIDS Project. The Circle of Life theme, the brain child of choreographer Devon Fields, uses song, dance, and acting to showcase many of life's most exciting and challenging milestones.
