Jarvis Miller earned his black belt in karate at age 13. Now, he's drawing on those martial arts skills as he acclimates to a new position.
Full-time students interested in trying out should attend the info session on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Lasch Building team auditorium.
"There are bigger guys, there are stronger guys, there are faster guys, but he is as polished and as productive of a wideout as I’ve been around in a camp setting," James Franklin said. "I think he’s gonna have a huge year for us.”
Entering training camp one week late won't stop Devon Still from competing for a spot on the New York Jets' roster. It's one of the easier challenges he's faced.
“You want to see increments getting better. I don’t expect him to go out there and be Roger Staubach,” Jets head coach Todd Bowles said. "The kid has to get a chance to play and make some mistakes, grow from it, and come back from adversity and make good plays."
