
Penn State football fans can rest easy knowing the Land-Grant Trophy is, once again, safe and sound in State College.

Penn State is 19-5 all-time against Illinois and is currently riding a two-game win streak dating back to 2015.

"It's been a tough season. It's not what we expected. But I think people should be proud of the way this team finished."

Penn State's defense came up big in the second half and allowed the Nittany Lions to fight their way back.
