There's new life in the Beta Theta Pi case after Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller announced new charges with the recovery of deleted security footage from the fraternity house.
Thanks to the FBI and its recovery of previously deleted footage of the basement of the fraternity house, we now know more details of what happened on that level of the house on the night in question.
Detective David Scicchitano said in the new criminal complaints he observed Piazza consuming at least 18 alcoholic drinks in an hour and 22 minute period.

Becker is now facing charges of tampering with evidence, obstructing administration of law, and hindering apprehension for deleting the surveillance video. All three are misdemeanors.
