The Blue Band is a huge part of Game Day that’s often overlooked. That’s definitely not the case, however, for Drum Major Chris Siergiej. Due to Onward State’s curiosity, Chris gave us a play-by-play of his usual Game Day; it’s different than most students’ for sure!

Sam Ficken has been named a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy, known colloquially as the Academic Heisman. Ficken's 8/9 on field goals this year and boasts a 3.59 cumulative GPA.
According to the Annual Security Report, last year there were 40 burglaries, 19 aggravated assaults, 17 forcible sexual offenses, and eight fires reported on campus. Additionally, 10 forcible sexual offenses occurred off campus in buildings that are owned or controlled by Penn State, and one forcible sexual offense occurred off campus on public property. These numbers represent a decrease from last year.
