
When former Penn State student Brandon Kelley finished writing the script for his film "Coach" in March of 2011, he hadn't even heard of Jerry Sandusky. As the news unfolded, however, many opposed the idea of Kelley making his movie due to the coincidental similarities in the two stories regarding child abuse and molestation.

In what is shaping up to be as climactic as the People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson, Dray Krishnan et. al v. John Zang et. al. is heating up on campus as the two sides prepare for a hearing. Earlier this evening, UPUA representative Anthony Christina filed an Emergency Petition for a Writ of Mandamus under the authority of Article VII. Section 7. of the Bylaws and Operational Code of the University Park Undergraduate Association Board of Arbitration.

Wearing a red jumpsuit with "Centre County" emblazoned on the back in fading black letters over a bulletproof vest, Jerry Sandusky returned to the Centre County Courthouse where his defense team argued for a new trial as part of the appeal process.

Just two weeks ago, Penn State was trailing Kentucky and rival Nebraska in a vote for the EA Sports NCAA Football 14 cover.
