Jermaine Marshall Transferring Instead of Going Pro

Jermaine Marshall, the Nittany Lions basketball guard who averaged 15.3 points a game in a breakout junior season, has decided not to play professional basketball overseas and will instead transfer from Penn State. ESPN is reporting that Marshall has been granted his release and will be playing his final season outside of Happy Valley.

Corbett Fires Ex Officio Trustee Richard Allan

Another one bit the dust. Today, Governor Corbett announced the forced resignation of Richard Allan, his secretary of the Department of Conservation of Natural Resources. Allan is also an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees and was present during the entirety of the Sandusky Scandal.
