The veteran to the comedy game went after Mark Zuckerberg, the GOP candidates and even the newest social media activism icon, Treyvon Martin. Bill O'Brien was hired as the new head coach of the Penn State football program two months and 23 days ago to the tune of disappointment and disdain from fans, students, and alumni. In the time that has passed since then, he's put together one of the strongest recruiting classes that the team has seen in years and has quickly endeared himself to the State College community, forcing the haters to eat their words.

Michael Oren, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, will speak on campus tonight about American foreign policy and the role of Israel as one of America's most important allies in the Middle-East. The event is scheduled for 7:00 pm in 111 Wartik and is structured as an open forum. Oren will be available for questions that anyone might have.

With March Madness and Scheduling Madness upon us, and being in the sunset of my college career, I thought it would be appropriate to orchestrate a sixteen-class bracket of the courses at Penn State wherein I was must struck with the thought, “Why am I here?”

Twelve student musical acts will compete in Movin' On's Battle of the Bands this Saturday at 9 p.m. in Alumni Hall. Two winners will be opening for the 2012 lineup on Friday, April 27. Find out more about the competitors after the jump.
