The No. 11 ranked Nittany Lions are gearing up for their last home series of the season this weekend against No. 16 Wisconsin. This will be the last time the five seniors will lace up for a collegiate hockey game at Pegula.

In their final home game of the 2016-17 campaign, the Nittany Lions suffered a gut-wrenching 71-70 loss to Ohio State on the Buckeyes' final possession.

"The kids in the city of Baltimore, not only do they know me, but they have my number. They can call me," Maybin said. "Fans burned my jersey when I left Buffalo. But these connections, with these kids, that's real."

Aaron Maybin played six years in the NFL. But his greatest impact came after he hung up his cleats for good. The Baltimore-based artist has carved a successful career on a canvas rather than the gridiron. Now, his artwork is being featured in the HUB's Robeson Gallery until early April.
