After nearly two decades of O. Richard Bundy at the helm, the Penn State Blue Band officially has a new director. Gregory Drane, the band's current assistant director, has been selected as Bundy's successor, according to an e-mail sent to the band.
High-efficiency solar panels will be coming to a rooftop near you soon, and it's all thanks to Penn State research. Referred to as concentrating photovoltaic -- or CPV -- systems, these solar panels operate a much higher efficiency than the standard solar panel.
The nationally ranked Schreyer Honors College announced its acceptances for the Class of 2019 on March 11, from a record total 3,721 applications received for the incoming freshman class. The accepted Schreyer Honors College Class of 2019 includes students from 32 states and 12 countries.
