
It's no secret that the HUB expansion project is behind schedule and has, quite frankly, become irritating to deal with. The last time we checked in on the expansion project, we were told that it was on schedule for a spring opening without a specific date. Well, we now have one.

The Board of Trustees all-time leading vote getter in alumni elections (15,629 votes in 2012) will not defend that title in 2015. Adam Taliaferro, a current trustee and former Penn State football player, will not seek reelection for a second term, per an email from Penn Staters for Responsible Stewardship sent last week.

After much anticipation, TEDxPSU released the complete list of speakers for its fifth annual conference. The organization revealed individuals weekly beginning in November for the March 1 event. Over the past three months, the list has grown to include sixteen speakers.

After 12 years at the top of the Penn State Alumni Association, Roger L. Williams announced his retirement as the organization's executive director on Thursday afternoon in a press release. Williams will continue his current duties until June 30.
