
According to a PSU Text sent earlier this afternoon, a water line collapsed in the first floor of McAllister Building, causing the building to be shutdown and evacuated. According to Penn State, the break has caused "significant damage to the first floor" and the electricity needed to be shut off.

As I was reflecting yesterday on the one year anniversary of his death, I couldn't help but ask myself -- has a man's legacy ever been analyzed, written about, and discussed more widely than Joe Paterno's? I suspect the answer is no, and the topic of Paterno's legacy seems to be one of the main rhetorical missions of many Penn State students, alumni, and supporters.

If you logged onto ANGEL last week, you might have seen a new notice on the homepage encouraging students, faculty, and staff to give their input for future improvements, because apparently the much maligned course management system is going to be sticking around for a long time.

Some traveled over four hours. Others came from across the street. But everyone came for one reason -- to honor the life of Joe Paterno on the one year anniversary of his death.
