
The Penn State Student Red Cross Club has organized a month-long blood drive in the second annual “Fight for Life”. Penn State will compete to give the most blood against the Ohio State University Student Red Cross Club. The friendly competition began Monday, April 2 and will conclude on Friday, April 27.

Joe Paterno was such a man that even after his passing he will continue his life mission to "make an impact" with the founding of the Paterno Foundation. More details and information will be released in the coming weeks as the foundation is still in its early stages.

The Penn State Alumni Association will be hosting a Candidate Meet and Greet during Blue-White weekend on Saturday, April 21. The road to hosting this event hit a few roadbumps along the way, but in the end came out strong.
Starting April 9th, Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) will showcase several young entrepreneurs from the tech community.

For the third straight year, Blue-White Weekend will feature the Beaver Stadium 5K Run/Family Fun Walk to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania. The run will honor Joe Paterno and his achievements during his tenure at Penn State, offering incentives to participants at five different fundraising benchmarks.

On March 26th, President Rodney Erickson and Vice President for Student Affairs Damon Sims hosted the third and final fireside chat in the Hintz Family Alumni Center. The chats gave students a small and informal to voice their concerns.
