Jerry Sandusky will be sentenced today at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte. Facing 45 counts of child sexual abuse stemming from 10 boys over more than a decade, Jerry Sandusky will meet his face at 9 a.m. today in front of family, friends, victims, and the public.

At about 6 pm, PSU ComRadio released a statement made by Jerry Sandusky from his holding cell. In the statement, he denies committing the crimes that he's been found guilty of. Sandusky says he will continue to fight for his innocence.

Tom Corbett has been a lightning rod of criticism on how he handled the investigation of Jerry Sandusky when he was Attorney General. In the race for state Attorney General, Kathleen Kane, a Democrat, and David Freed, a Republican, have each expressed opinions on whether Corbett's leadership needs further review. The November election will be the first chance that Pennsylvania residents have to make a material statement on their governor.

In an order filed earlier this afternoon, Judge John Cleland granted the release of Jerry Sandusky's bail money to his wife Dottie.

Longtime broadcaster and sports commenter Bob Costas was earned an Emmy for his interview with Jerry Sandusky on NBC's Rock Center on Nov. 21, 2011. The award, under the 'News and Documentary' Emmy category will be Costas' first.

Several Penn Staters have been vocal about the NCAA's recent actions, including a former Penn State NCAA representative. On Monday afternoon, Dr. Scott Kretchmar, Penn State's NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative from 2000-2010, guest lectured a communications class before an audience of about 70 students, saying that “Penn State is being used and abused by the NCAA.”
