‘PSU Matchmaker’ Helps Students Find Love on TV

PSU Matchmaker, inspired by Bravo’s hit series “The Millionaire Matchmaker”, premieres on PSNtv's Youtube channel this weekend. The series features a bachelor or bachelorette who is set up on three blind dates. The production crew films each encounter as well as the participants’ reactions to each other in a separate interview. The bachelor then chooses which of the three bachelorettes he would like to see for a second date off the air.

Beta Eta Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma Welcomes 201 New Members

This Saturday, newly recolonized Phi Sigma Sigma welcomed 201 new members to their sorority following a weeklong recruitment process. After a vote to expand the number of sororities on campus last spring, both Phi Sigma Sigma and Delta Phi Epsilon were invited to join Penn State's Greek community and start their recruitment processes at different times in the school year.

DIY Halloween Costumes

Halloween is arguably the greatest weekend here at Penn State--costume parties and candy, what could be better? Unfortunately, it is also one of the most expensive. If you want to do Halloween properly, you have to have at least three clever costumes, because repeating is lame, and not dressing up is even lamer. Pre-made Halloween costumes happen to be incredibly expensive, and pretty much super boring. So, your options are pretty limited. Your best bet is scouring thrift shops and your own closet to DIY your own perfect costumes. Here are a few options that we came up with.

Penn State Rolls Out User-Generated Snapchat Story

Snapchat users may be familiar with its Our Story feature, which has been used to curate user-generated snaps from major events based on geolocation. Today, Snapchat users using Penn Sate's wifi started noticing a similar feature called College Campus Live. Penn State is one of four universities -- along with UCLA, USC, and UT Austin -- to pilot the new Snapchat feature.
