This is the most expansive Music Monday yet, with over three hours of upbeat and THON-related songs. So dancers, pop in your headphones whenever you feel like you need a pick-me-up and press play.

A small subset of students who attended last Saturday's Penn State basketball game may have been exposed to the chickenpox virus that may hinder their attendance at THON.

With THON rapidly approaching, all participants are beginning to gear up for the 46-hour, no sitting or sleeping dance marathon. In just one week, students will pack the Bryce Jordan Center to partake in the event. Here's a look at what some special interest orgs are doing to prepare for THON 2015.

Here at Onward State, we like to have our fun with our media "rivals" over at the Daily Collegian, whether that fun is at their expense, the expense of their writers, or even in the form of a legitimate attempt at befriending them. Usually it's light-hearted and general fun-having, but yesterday, when I made the terrible, horrible, no good mistake of clicking on their editorial about State College's name change come THON weekend, I could feel myself losing brain cells. This editorial was just too bad to go unopposed.

As THON quickly approaches, it's obvious that excitement and anticipation is growing here on campus. In a little over a week, the world’s largest student-run philanthropic event will commence. The festivities and preparation, however, have already started.

THON-goers, beware: Pegula Ice Arena will not be open to waiting visitors until 8 a.m. on Sunday.
