THON Family Hour Brings Tears, Inspiring Stories

Ask anyone what the most emotional parts of THON are, and Family Hour will, year after year, certainly appear on that list. This year was no different as Four Diamonds families strolled across the stage at the Bryce Jordan Center and four shared their stories of their children's battles with cancer.

Update From Our Dancer: Hour 42

We last checked in with Ali Fogarty 10 hours ago when she was still anxiously waiting to see her family following a PASS System failure and huge line outside the Bryce Jordan Center. Since then, Fogarty has seen her loved ones twice and now feels "light years better," ready to take on and soak in the final four hours before sitting down.

Bill O’Brien Delivers Emotional Address to THON

Bill O'Brien wowed everyone one year ago at THON 2012 and came back for an encore performance today that was even more epic.

Kait Weston Returns to THON

Youtube sensation and Los Angeles resident Kait Weston returned to THON to deliver a beautiful acoustic performance that was as original as it was motivating.

Final Dancer Update: Jerry Agosta, Hour 41

When I asked Jerry to take his picture for this post, he said, "Come on, Ryan. I'm crying." I told him not to worry about it because in an hour or so, we are all going to be crying (can't even see the tears in the picture, Jerry). And, just so you know, I may or may not have let out a few mansobs as I read through this post in the media room.

Final Dancer Update: Joel Kreider, Hour 41

There isn't much that I can say about this last update. I know Joel is extremely tired (aren't we all?), but in a matter of an hour, the Final Four Hours will commence, and before he knows it, he will be sitting on the BJC floor.
