Wentzel, who boasts a 117-15 record in high school, won a state championship during his freshman year at Montoursville.
Wright, a four-time All-American, wrestled at Penn State from 2008 to 2013 and posted a 116-23 record.
Nickal won his bout against Zachary Borrego with a rear naked choke 1:02 into the first round.
The terms of the contract have not been released.
With a UFC roster spot possibly at stake, Nickal will fight Zachary Borrego on August 9.
