Although last week's general election didn't send a new president to the White House or shake up Washington, it did result in a few "firsts" for State College and Centre County.

It must've felt good for the many Penn State fans in attendance at the Nittany Lions' first win in more than a month.

The Nittany Lions will face Syracuse in the first round of the tournament at noon on Friday, November 12.

An early goal from Peter Mangione, a slick shot coming from Andrew Privett in the first half, and a bunch of saves from Kris Shakes led Penn State to an eye-opening win.

During the game, Penn State will encourage most of Penn State to wear white, while a small sliver of fans will wear blue to resemble the Nittany Lions' iconic helmets. Basically, it's another White Out.

"I'm literally a kid out here having fun, playing the game I love. Games like this are special."
