"This year’s theme is about the potential to change someone’s life, make a positive impact in their day, and take steps towards finding a cure. It means having the ability to have another day, smell the fresh air, and smile."
This action comes after a court ruled earlier this year the university must reimburse a group of trustees who sued the university for their right to access documents related to Penn State's internal investigation of the Sandusky scandal.
"This is something that we hope will become an annual fundraising push for all of THON and we're very optimistic to see what the future holds for the campaign."
NRT and SPA Late Night will present "The Miracle Worker" on November 10 and 11 at 9 p.m. in the HUB Flex Theatre.
"History serves as a lesson for us all as to how we can improve and move forward in the future. Homecoming itself learns from its history as an honored event through time by remembering why we put all this work into planning Homecoming."
