
A group of four students in the Smeal College of Business have created a service called LionShoppers that will deliver groceries to your door, so you can spend less time in the store and more time at the Phyrst studying. The four students said they were inspired to create the company to fill a need that they believe exists in State College, especially since students are super busy and often don't have access to a car.

State of State's 2015 conference, "Finding the 'I Am' In 'We Are,'" addressed topics like engaged scholarship and sexual assault awareness under the leadership of Claudia Kotchick, former State of State Executive Director. Now, Kotchick has passed the torch to the 2016 Executive Director, Tess Hamsher.
