
I took a tour of the construction site during winter break, and although it doesn't look like much yet, parts of the HUB, including the new bookstore space, are still on schedule to open by the 2014 Fall semester.

It's going to be tough to see Larry Johnson on Ohio State's sideline when the Buckeyes make the trip to Beaver Stadium on October 25. It will probably to tough for Johnson, too, who has spent the last 18 seasons in Happy Valley and had three children graduate from Penn State, including two football players.

Apprehension, fear, sheer panic: those were once the thoughts as students attempted to survive the colored tile sidewalk in front of the Palmer Museum of Art on the way to Forum in the rain. For some, the sense of fear was exhilarating; for others, and those who consistently fell prey, it was a living hell every time it rained.

The 16th ranked Penn State Lady Lions were back in action last night, defeating Ohio State, 66-42. The defense was the story of the game, allowing a season-low 42 points. Penn State's offense, which is usually reliant on a big game from Maggie Lucas, was far more balanced, as 10 of the 11 Lady Lion players to get into the game scored.
