
While many people have expressed excitement over the imminent James Franklin hire, at least one Penn State College of Communications professor (and 117 supporters, as of publishing time) are not happy with it.

Penn State has offered Vanderbilt's James Franklin the head coaching position and he is expected to accept it, according to a report from CBS's Bruce Feldman.

It stands to reason, then, that Penn State should look at the unranked teams like thirsty bloodhounds, hungry to pick up winnable games in order to fill out that postseason equation.
