Chip Ray Elected as New IFC President

Chip Ray (@chipray16) was elected as the new President of the Penn State Interfraternity Council at last night's meeting. Ray, an Industrial Engineering major and member of Acacia, has served as the IFC's Executive Vice President over the past term. He will have the tall task of replacing outgoing IFC President Vinnie Lizza.

"Thank you to everyone for your support," Ray Tweeted after his election. "I am very honored and excited for what the next year will bring."

A Salute to Blue Band Drum Major Ian Kenney

Ian Kenney spent the past 3 football seasons a little differently than most Penn State students: every Saturday he was responsible for landing 2 front-tuck flips in front of 100,000 people in addition to conducting the world-famous Pennsylvania State University Marching Blue Band. He served as the Drum Major and, this year, did so with a chipped bone in his foot.

DE Deion Barnes Named B1G Freshman of the Year

The accolades just keep on coming for Penn State football. A day after six Nittany Lions were rewarded with 1st Team All-Big Ten honors, Defensive End Deion Barnes was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
