With the semester coming to a close, many seniors are scrambling to cross items off of their Penn State bucket list. One trip that every Penn State student should make before they graduate is hiking Mt. Nittany.
After a disappointing week with three straight losses, the softball team came back with something to prove. They’ve gone 5-1 since last Wednesday, including four straight wins in their series’ against Kent State and Buffalo.
The Penn State men’s volleyball team struggled in the final weekend of the regular season. After one of their best performances of the season against Ohio State on April 10, the Nittany Lions faded to the finish with a loss last Friday and a narrow victory last Saturday. After a week break, Penn State will be back in action, hosting the EIVA Championship.

The 1,600 participants of Sunday's Beaver Stadium 5K were able to meet Sue Paterno, former Nittany Lion standout Franco Harris and other Penn State student-athletes as they finished the race - at the 50-yard line of Beaver Stadium. The record-breaking $80,000 raised for Special Olympics Pennsylvania was just an extra added bonus to the newest Blue-White Weekend tradition.
Having been under construction since the fall of 2008, for many Penn State students, the Millenium Science Complex has been a part of their campus experience since freshman year. After nearly three years, however, the building is set to be completed by the end of the summer. Get a sneak peek of the building after the jump.
