Nittany Lions Look to Continue Unbeaten Streak Against Hoosiers

Closing in on completing its twentieth football season as a member of the Big Ten, Penn State has done many things within that time period, but losing to Indiana is not one of them. The two squads have met fifteen times, and regardless of location, weather, or overall condition of the program, the result was the same each game and very few of the contests were even close. Tomorrow at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany Lions (6-4, 4-2) will attempt to continue this unbeaten streak against the Hoosiers (4-6, 2-4) that dates back to November 6, 1993.

The Cornhuskers are led by head coach Bo Pelini who is in his fifth year with the program. Bill O'Brien will be looking to remain undefeated in conference road games during his first season with the Nittany Lions.

A year later, another game against Nebraska approaches, and this time, rather than chaos, there is a sense of calmness as a bunch of football players have taught a valuable life lesson in dealing with change.

One Year Later, What Have We Learned?

It is now exactly one year to the day that Jerry Sandusky was arrested and charged with 40 counts of child sexual abuse. The arrest kicked off the one year that we at Penn State would like to forget most of all. The scandal devastated us, as the school and its symbols we thought we knew seemed to unravel. But I think I've learned more in the past year than perhaps any other.

Sandusky Scandal: A Year in Pictures

Exactly one year ago, the Penn State community entered into a whirlwind of shock, confusion, tragedy, and eventually the first seedlings of healing. The images are still fresh in our mind from all these emotions, and will no doubt continue to be as the community moves forward.
