JabbaWockeeZ Surprise Lionettes

The Penn State Dance team (a.k.a. the Lionettes) got a pleasant surprise when some members of the JabbaWockeeZ joined them during their practice on Monday night.

The dance team was awaiting practice in the White Building when they noticed what appeared to be the JabbaWockeeZ dance crew– they weren’t sure at first, because the crew members were not wearing their hallmark masks.

The JabbaWockeeZ had been holding a hip hop clinic with Ram Squad. The Lionettes weren’t expecting the Jabbaz to come to their practice, but sure enough (after the Jabbaz made a trip to Subway for some five dollar footlongs of course), a few of the members returned and proceeded to watch the Lionettes routine for the upcoming nationals competion.

The Jabbaz then challenged the Lionettes to some break dancing, though I can’t confirm how successful these efforts were. (Apparently the Jabbaz are pretty good… who would have known?) Following the practice, the Lionettes got a sneak preview of what the JabbaWockeeZ will be performing tonight when they open for the New Kids on the Block at 7:30 pm.
