Why Uncle Joey? Comedians We’d Rather See

Hey everyone, Dave Coulier's coming to Penn State! Did that news upset you? Yeah, me too. Here's a few comedians I bet you'd like to see instead, mainly because they're actually funny.

Declare a Minor, No Pants Required!

Penn State has managed to add yet another tool to eLion: Declaration of a Minor. It all began a year ago, in October 2010, when the Faculty Senate adjusted a policy, which allowed students to declare minors from any campus that offered required the courses. But it was in the execution where this idea arose, with the Senate declaring that the approval process for adding a minor was needless, and recommending its elimination.

A Look Back: 2008 Victory Over Ohio State (Oh, and the Riots)

It's been three years since the night Penn State defeated Ohio State in Columbus to up their record to 9-0 and cause major riots in State College. For many seniors and recent grads, this was one of the most memorable nights of their Penn State experience. We take a look back at the game and ensuing riots.

Where to Buy Halloween Costumes in State College

Okay. So, you did it again this year. It's two days before costume parties begin and you don't have a costume. It's not that you aren't excited about Halloween...perhaps you just didn't have time to go pick something out, or maybe you just have no idea what you want to be. Either way: you are in quite the predicament. The line to get into the Halloween Store on Beaver Avenue, Gift Adventures, is going to be out the door, and there just isn't enough time! Where do you go?

THON Dodgeball Tournament

The tournament is open for anyone- committees, orgs, clubs, etc., and is a fun and easy way to raise money for THON. Registration includes a t-shirt for each participant and if you're lucky enough to be finish in the top 3, then additional prizes will be given out to those team members. So come out and throw some dodgeballs at your friends FOR THE KIDS!

G. Love Gives Filthy-Good Performance

G. Love & Special Sauce bring the blues to the State Theatre on Monday night. Featuring guitar player, Garrett Dutton, the group led a performance mixing hip-hop and the blues in front of a packed audience at the State Theatre.
