Marcus Allen Surprises Mom With New Car For Christmas
This Christmas, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker and former Penn State football star Marcus Allen surprised his mother with a brand-new car. Her reaction? Priceless.
Although Allen couldn’t physically be with his family this holiday, he called her to share the news and see her reaction.
“I’ve been wanting to do that my whole life,” Allen said over the phone. “I love you, mom.”
Allen is far from the first NFL-bound Nittany Lion to show some love for his mom. Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders gifted his mother a car last year, following a tradition many young and newly signed NFL stars have taken part in.
The Steelers drafted Allen as a safety in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Since moving to linebacker this season, he’s totaled 23 tackles and started in Pittsburgh’s most recent two games.
