The Obama Print Media Bump

Gawker has reported a few times about how the Obama victory stimulated the print media market. Check out this link about the New York Times 11/5 issue or this one about how Time went through at least three printings of that issue or this one about the increase in sales of FDR biographies after Obama’s 60 Minutes appearance. Don’t worry though, the State College media has benefited from the Obama bump. The Centre Daily Times is now selling their commemorative Nov 5 papers.

American universities produce more research and relevant knowledge for the world at large than any other institutions I know of. Tuition may be too damn high, but over the long-run, undergraduate degrees are definitely worth the cost. But Penn State could be so much more. It used to be, I think.
