Dollar Dog Night Makes Many Happy

hot dogsThere aren’t many places in the world where you can get a hot dog for a dollar. In this economy, the opportunities to do so should be taken advantage of.

The past two men’s basketball games at the BJC, against Michigan St. and Michigan, have been the exceptions to this general rule of expensive hot dogs.  Imagine getting to see a great game of basketball while eating processed meat products, all for a low low price. Seven dollars buys you a ticket and two dogs. Yum! Now that the men are playing great ball, the value of that combo is even higher. So I hope to see you there, hot dog in hand.

The next home game is at 6:00 pm on Saturday in the BJC.

Senior Writes Final Column

Senior columns, with all their melodrama and platitudes, usually leave me eye-rolling and shaking my head with a vigor usually reserved for study abroad blog posts. But, as I graduate a week from today, I figured I should give it a go myself. Rather than discuss the origins of Onward State like Evan,  I’d just like to briefly thank a few individuals who have defined my Penn State experience.
